Those who track my achievements may have noticed some interesting ones appeared in the last 24 hours. They’re interesting not because they’re particularly difficult to achieve, but because they’re PVP achievements – and those who’ve read me with any degree of regularity know how I feel about PVP.

That said, as I raid on Grim, I’ve been collecting badges, these days mostly Valor. And since valor provides absolutely nothing of use for Grim’s DPS set, I usually use them to stock up on tanking items. Last night was no exception – I picked up a set of Valorous Scourgeborne Pauldrons. Since Grim is already well over defense cap, I elected to go slightly against the grain and put Greater Inscription of the Gladiator on them. While the resilience is virtually useless, that 30 stamina is always a nice boost. In tank gear and frost presence, Grim sits just under 30k health. Given that it’s a secondary spec, and one I only pull out periodically, I’m pretty satisfied with that.

That said…I can say that Frost Presence + Tank Gear + DPS spec = PVP fun. Maybe I’ll try that again some time.
