I couldn’t get to him fast enough…

Jan 03, 2009 I leveling, tanking.

Arthas, Drakuru and I…to properly spit in his face.

I have a long list of nastiness I’d love to spew at my former Lord, but my revenge will come in time, when he finds my blade buried deep into his cold heart.

That particular quest (Betrayal) was one my Hunter failed miserably time and time again until a guildie flew in and helped (read: was cannon fodder for Drakuru). Grim? Handled the quest by pirouetting around the circle, periodically sticking his tongue out at Drakuru, and laughing the few times he got hit. 2k damage? Baaaah…that’s nothing when you’re at nearly 20k! So, needless to say, he completed that quest the first go around.

So why is my freshly minted level 78 DK back in Zul’Drak doing low to mid 70s quests? Simple – reputation. The hands down best head enchant for a tank is Arcanum of the Stalwart Protector, and it’s available at Argent Crusade – Revered. Since Grim is still only just friendly with the Crusade, that’s going to take quite a bit of work. In the meanwhile though, his defense rating is 601, which is still shy of being crit-immune. The trinket that we picked up by running Shadow Labs over and over again helped though.

As an aside, that was a fun group makeup – 4 DKs and a Warlock. Heals? We don’t need no stinkin’ heals! Though…that’s not completely true. I’m sure the 69 Frost DK that died several times probably would have appreciated a healer at several points – but hey, at least the Warlock could cast soulstone! Heh.

Hopefully, before the weekend is out, Grim will be 80…but only time will tell.
