PTR is full of fail

Jun 30, 2009 I dps, gear, specs.

I was hoping to be making a post updating you on my adventures in the PTR, on what the new ‘it’ spec will be, and how DKs will stack up on the DPS depth chart…

I was hoping to show you the modeling for the T9 gear – Koltira’s Plate (Tank) and Koltira’s Battlegear (DPS).

I was hoping to have SOMETHING to report at all.

Instead, I have a whole lot of nothing.

This is not for lack of effort. I log into the PTR almost daily, trying to see if things have been changed, fixed, etc. I’m still unable to learn unholy blight, which, as I understand it, is a common problem for Death Knights who transfer over with Unholy specs. I had hoped the most recent patch would fix it but no, not so much. Instead, what the latest patch did was strip Grim(my) down to his skivvies. Blizz apparently decided they didn’t want people testing the new T9 gear just yet (it had been purchasable with gold) and stripped it off of characters…and like a noob, I had sold off Grim’s existing gear to make bag space. I’ll either need to transfer him over again, or have Blizz give me my old stuff back. Bah!

I do have a ticket open (*snort*) so perhaps eventually they’ll hook a cow up…but I’m not holding my breath.

Sorry the PTR's been so shitty :( And as much as I like thinking about Grim in only his skivvies I know it can make it pretty darn hard to do anything else on the PTR… *cough*

Yeah…Grim is in his tanking gear at the moment. We'll see if that gets resolved, or if I'll have to transfer him over again. Sigh.
