The surprise that wasn’t…
Jan 27, 2009 I raiding.Guild heroic runs never went off yesterday (at least not as far as I know). I goofed up and missed out on them because I read the guild calendar wrong – I thought we were running our usual raid time, but the guild leader had set the time up for 2 hours before that. Needless to say, when I logged on an hour before ‘raid’ time, only to realize my mistake, I felt horribly guilty.
Raid invites for this weekend went out today, and I was a bit surprised to see Mal – and not Grim – had been given the nod this week. And while I’m getting more comfortable playing a hunter again (after playing almost nothing but a DK for the last month or so), I’d neglected the hell out of him and had a few things I needed to take care of before I’d feel comfortable with him raiding.
Naturally though, once I finished getting his rep with Ebon Blade up to revered, I heard from the guild leader that the runs were going to be rescheduled due to some personnel issues. So things may be getting done on Grim instead of Mal after all.
But at least now, if Mal is needed, he’ll be in much better shape!

Hm – I guess I’m lucky that I really only have one main character and no feasible alts that could be in a raid. I think it would be too much for me to try to do two characters at once. And even though Mal didn’t get the playtime you thought he would, at least there’s the Ebon Blade rep out of the way!

That was me for the longest time. I just had Mal, and my sole issue with him was deciding which pet to bring to the raids. But I kinda like being able to bring two totally different characters (and playing styles!) to a raid. It gives me – and the guild – more options.
