With everything that’s been going on of late – in life, in school, even in game – it’s been hard to squeeze in any sort of significant action on Grim.

That changed tonight, when a guildie suggested a run of heroic Violet Hold. I’ve run it several times on regular, and maybe twice on heroic – but never completing it on heroic. Bad luck of the draw with bosses, I guess. Tonight though, we seemed to get two of the easier bosses – or at least bosses I knew how to handle with relative ease.

It’s funny…I read so many other blogs out there, and the posts are talking about drops from Naxx and such…and my excitement for tonight was that I got a really nice set of tanking pants. Yeah, the Bolstered Legplates finally dropped for Grim. And in trading services with a guildie (Mal enchanted several items for him, he crafted up a set of Frosthide Leg Armor) I’m pretty happy with the end result.

I’ve been playing a babyboomkin (46) of late and enjoying it – but its merely something to do rather then any sort of a permanent move. It’s fun to try out different classes, but I’m happy where I am right now.

No idea if there are any plans to do any sort of heroics or raids this weekend – I’m horribly out of the loop. I suppose I’ll find out come weekend, eh?
